The Worldwide Short Film Festival started with the Award Winner shorts
screening, and now we bookend closing day with the annoucement of award winners
for the festivals 15th year. For the Audience Awards, the audience rating
all films from 1 to 5 after the screenings. Those ballots have been casted and
counted and here are the winners of the Audience Award and Juried Awards
for the 2009 Worldwide Short Film Festival. Top honours for Best Live Action
Short goes to Nicolas Silhol for My Name is Dominic / Tous les enfants
s'appellent Dominique which enables its eligibility for the 2009 Academy Awards.
Congratulations to all the award winners and honourable mentions!
