Dubbed the classic ice-maiden, Kareena Kapoor is averse to elaborate make-up and hairdo, and insists on simplicity. It adds to the well-defined features of the actress who, many believe, will become the No. 1 heroine in Bollywood.

Kareena is just 21, and until now she has worked with known directors and banners. Her debut film, Refugee, did not do well at the box office, but it got her noticed all right. Her next film, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, was a hit, but the third, Yaadein, failed to win over the masses. Until now she has done over fourtheen films and big blockbusters like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Asoka, Ajnabee, Khushi, Mujhse Dosti Karoge and the much awaited Main Prem ki Diwani Hoon.



When I saw Kareena in JP Dutta's Refugee I saw that she is going to be the Bollywood news. She was approached by filmmakers when she was in college. This girl went to Harvard but in the end she decided to do films.
