I'm too busy to catch everyone up with everything now, but I've had a
lot going on in my life--with not the least of it being the passing
of my dad on February 2.
Justin! I've just written three books--and I even put a plug for you
in one of them (recommended The Wedding Planner).
Angela and her three cuties were here to see me a few months ago.
Her dad, aunt, and grandparents used to live where I live now, and
she wanted to come back and show the kids where she had a lot of
happy childhood memories.
The place looked as if a tornado had hit it, and I kept apologizing
for its appearance, but she kept blowing it off and was just happy to
be back here again.
She told me that she was going to be seeing you shortly (back at that
time) and gave me her e-mail address and phone #. E-mailed her but
didn't hear back and now have misplaced the paper (UGH!).
If you see Angela, tell her I'm working on organizing this place back
into something more civilized and will, hopefully, have it looking
good again by or before Halloween (looks spooky now-LOL).
I'm not sure if she comes to this site or not.
Today, I'm home from a retreat and had been hoping to finish the
three books and get them up for sale, but the friend who had been
helping me had yet another family emergency to come up.
That bunch not only seems to have the worst luck with their health
but, also, the worst luck with their cars, and Mark's always stuck
with fixing them. This includes his OWN car! I told my mom today
that I think they should give up on cars and consider learning to
roller skate!
Speaking of my mom...I don't know how often you read this or if
you've ever seen any of my posts here, but she's a first cousin to
your late grandpa, John Chambers. Her mom and his dad were brother
and sister.
This information should ease your mind that I'm not some kind of
stalker who has been going through your garbage and decided
to "become" your cousin.
Anyway, as I mentioned before, I'm on a revitalization retreat at
this time--and am hoping to also add the activity of book promotion
by no later than tomorrow (something I'd been hoping to do much
sooner, but things haven't worked out that way, due to my computer
becoming seriously-ill and getting worse--something that has, for the
most part, been "doctored" by Mark when he, a family member, a
friend, and/or a car wasn't needing some kind of assistance--and, now
that it's fixed, Mark is helping me with some stuff that I don't yet
know how to do whenever he, his loved ones, and all of their cars are
in at-least-passable health)--so I won't be around here a whole lot
in the next few weeks (just popping in from time to time).
But I hope we might be able to get some kind of family reunion going
over here.
In case you didn't realize it, you come from a very interesting
family--unique, giving, and funny.
But I'm probably not telling you anything new!
Anyway, one thing I've been doing while home has been organizing my
groups here at Yahoo a little better so I can have more quality time
with them.
One thing, of course, is to change all but one group to digest when
it comes to getting mail instead of individual e-mails that were
crowding my box.
And, in the case of your group, many of those e-mails were off-topic-
to-the-nth!!!
I kept getting offers to look at porn pictures, etc.
Now, I can choose what I want to read and ignore the rest--Hear that
senders (you know your identities!)!?!
Gotta hang it up for now!
Nice chatting with you!!!
Love,
Ainsley Jo :o)
