Julie Delpy ("Before Sunset") and Hope Davis ("American Splendor")
are joining Richard Gere in the drama "The Hoax," according to The
Hollywood Reporter.

The Lasse Hallstrom-directed biopic tells the story of Clifford
Irving (Gere), the man who wrote and sold a false biography of
Howard Hughes to publishing magnet McGraw-Hill.

French-born actress Delpy will play Irving's mistress while Davis
will play Andrea Tate, an employee at McGraw-Hill.

Alfred Molina ("Spider-Man 2") and Marcia Gay Harden ("Mystic
River") will also appear in the film.

Delpy is currently shooting the drama "The Legend of Lucy Keyes,"
while Davis will appear in the Nicolas Cage pic "The Weather Man,"
set for release on October 28.

Lasse Hallstrom is a director who is famous for "chocolate"
and "gilbert grape", so I expect julie's new film will be also well-
made, great movie.

BTW does anybody knows when "legend of lucy keyes" will be released?
