Guess I missed 'McBeal'.

I was watching 'black book' on my recorder yesterday and was struck by
Julianne.

Firstly, because my high school girlfriend looked almost exactly the
same. Secondly, because I am always intrigued by the 'supporting
actresses'. And thirdly, because she gets the man in the end.

It was easy to find parallels with my own situation and how
appropriate it would be to go back to someone like that. In fact, I
find the idea of giving a boomerang to someone like her slightly
shameful. I am ashamed and chagrinned. Been there.....
