I just wanted to take a second and let you know about the auction

of Disorders of the Corpus Callosum) in honor of my six year old God
Daughter Emily who has Complete Agenisis of The Corpus Callosum.

Agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC) is a birth defect in which the
structure that connects the two hemispheres of the brain (the corpus
callosum) is partially or completely absent. ACC can occur as an
isolated condition or in combination with other cerebral
abnormalities, including Arnold-Chiari malformation, Dandy-Walker
syndrome, Andermann syndrome, schizencephaly (clefts or deep
divisions in brain tissue), and holoprosencephaly (failure of the
forebrain to divide into lobes.) Girls may have a gender-specific
condition called Aicardi's syndrome, which causes severe mental
retardation, seizures, abnormalities in the vertebra of the spine,
and lesions on the retina of the eye. ACC can also be associated with
malformations in other parts of the body, such as midline facial
defects. The effects of the disorder range from subtle or mild to
severe, depending on associated brain abnormalities. Intelligence may
be normal with mild compromise of skills requiring matching of visual
patterns. But children with the most severe brain malformations may
have intellectual retardation, seizures, hydrocephalus, and
spasticity.

In honor of Days 40th Anniversary November 8, I am doing a special
section on The Salem Gazette website, and I need your help.  I need
everyone to send in their favorite memory of Days in the past 40
years along with their favorite storyline and tell me why they are
your favorite.

4.  I will be printing coppies of the section for anyone who would
like a hard copy.

The cost of the hard coppies will be $5.50 and that will go twoards
cost of the books and improvements to the website.  If you would

Hello All,
I just wanted to invite you all to join my Brandon/Sami pics of the

Sunday at the Mall of America I met Matt Cedeno, who plays Brandon on
Days of our Lives. He was really sweet, I got my picture taken with him,
his autograph and he signed my Days book. He said 3 years ago when he
came on the show Abe was going to end up being his father and he wonders
when the writers will make up their mind about if he is or isnt.  He
doesn’t really like the alien thing either but he says the writers keep
saying to give it time. He also says that Jay Kenneth Johnson is leaving
in December. I will post the pictures when I get them developed.

I'm from South Africa. Some of you may be familiar with the TV Plus
magazine. I was a winner in the days dream competition. The featured
prize was a collector's calender of days characters. Who was the
character I'd like most to meet & Why ???? Everyone was talking about
the actors' beauty etc. I wanted to meet Julianne Morris WHY???? When
she first appeared on Days, she had scares and soon this became her
past when she went for surgery. Well, back home I have to deal with
similiar situations.

etc. Like they have more use in the show,

NOOOOOOOOOOO! They can't let her go... She is
like the only reason I watch Days... That is a bad
desicion. If they let her go, lots of people will not watch
the show either. I heard that they were also letting
go of Austin Peck. Whats happening to all the good
characters!?!?!?

If you haven't heard already...<br>Apparently,
there's a rumor/information going round that Julianne
Morris has been let go from the Days of Our Lives
cast.<br><br>From the latest SOW, <br>So Long, Princess. Days of
Our Lives has dethroned Julianne Morris who plays
Salem's noble virgin, Greta Von Amburg.<br>Morris joined
Days in May 1998 as Greta-aka-Swamp Girl. She has been
involved in some of the show's most outrageous stories,
including Greta and Austin being trapped in a
virtual-reality Garden of Eden and the Dynastyesque assassination
attempt in Greta's coronation. Greta has been unlucky at
love, falling for Eric, Austin, and now her "gay"
friend Jack.<br>Sources say the character was going
nowhere and had few ties, so the show decided to release
Morris. Whether viewers will finally learn the identity
of Greta's father is unknown. A Days spokesperson
had no comment.

I was reading some other posts, and people were
hoping that there would be a good twist on Days with
Greta's characture. Well, you got your wish. i think its
pretty funny how she's falling in love with Jack, who is
supposedly 'Gay'. Not only that, but she sets him up with
Harold the perfect stereotype gay guy (The whole massage
plot was brilliant!). I think thats adds a
lighthearted plot, and a sense of humor to Days which is
regularly a more dramatic show.<br><br>P.S. I was wodering
if anyone saw the one episode back in August where
Greta got really drunk and kept sneezing whenever she
was trying to Jennifer that Jack was a
homosexual.(Kudos to the writer who thought of that 1)
