Actually there is. All messages to the board can be approved by the
mod. I was checking the settings recently. What there is *not*
which I want is secure files that only people with a password can
access. I suppose there are only certain features that Yahoo is
willing to provide for free.

I don't think anyone has advanced that theory. I have some probable
knowledge about why Jessica is doing this, and it's not for fun. My
question is should we as fans try to figure out these things for
ourselves and pass the information on inter-nous, entre-nous,
clandestinely, etc. We're her fans, darnit, not her security team.
If she has (and it seems to be going that way) completely removed
her real name from all her current dub work, and will continue doing
so, are we as her fans just supposed to forget that we are fans of
her current and future work, as well as her past, or are we to be
fans of her past work only?
The guild thing is also an important point. Many of the actors in
Robotech, for instance, were union members and consequently used
pseudo-nyms of various kinds, but fans have since figured out their
real names, because they want to see more of their work, etc.
That's sort of what fans do.
I like the suggestions to further restrict the club settings, but I
don't think it's a good idea to do so only on the basis of 1 or 2
agreements, at least without our worthy Group Owner's account
active. Let's see if any of the many lurkers in this group will
speak up for a change. If we get a groundswwell of some kind, I am
more than open to doing so.
