Thanks so much Brandi!)I also found this article:
http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/2004-01-02-oconnell-without-trace_x\
.htm
On an episode scheduled for Jan. 15 (10 p.m. ET/PT), O'Connell will
play a missing criminal-defense attorney who's afraid for his life.
The question for Jack (Anthony LaPaglia): Are those fears real or the
result of paranoid schizophrenia?
The episode was written by Trace producer Ed Redlich, who says he was
looking for a way to get O'Connell on the show. "You struggle to
create these missing-person roles that are meaty enough."

I don't see any air dates for New Crossing Jordan episodes in 2004
yet. The last official word put out by the network was that it would
premiere in January, but this writer for the Denver Post says it may
be after February sweeps "NBC says "Crossing Jordan" will return in
2004, too, likely after the February sweeps" - joanne ostrow
