My memory is fuzzy on the Superman thing, but as I recall the guy who
was going to direct the movie (Brett Ratner) was associated with Jerry
during his film school days at NYU.

Shortly after all the Jerry hype, Brett left the project. After that,
it seemed like the movie was left in limbo. It seems the latest person
to have been approached for the role was Brendan Fraser (Critter Dee
do you know anything about this? I remember you were a big BF fan).
