Ok everyone,
With regards to JumpCon Boston, as of yesterday Jason has not
received anything from the organizers (plane ticket or upfront
money). I'm waiting to hear what he plans to do about the Boston
event or the other 2 he is currently scheduled for.
In addition, yesterday Robert Picardo posted on his official website
that JumpCon has not met their contractual obligations to him (or
any other guest to his knowledge) so as of yesterday he is not
attending. Final word to come after 5:00pm this Friday.
If you were still planning to go, the JumpCon hotel rate of $199
plus tax expired, but the hotel still has rooms and at lower rates.
You can also book through various travel sites and book at a lower
rate and combine with airfare.
Me? I'm still not going and I'm within driving distance
(approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour). ;-)
