Hello all,
My insurance finally confirmed it, the date for my surgery is July
21st. They are implanting a spinal cord stimulator into a pocket they
will create in my hip in the hopes of alleviating some of my chronic
pain. For those mwho dont know I have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy,
which is a
progressive unfortunately incurable nerve pain syndrome. I have been
in Pain Management for 6 years which basically means I take enormous
quantities of painkillers that don't work.
I will then spend the rest of the summer recuperating. (Great excuse
to spend endless hours watching Jason on DVD..snicker, snicker!!!)
