Hey Sage! Thanks for asking....in a word....swamped - and in transition.
I just started a new job as an assistant manager at a Plus size
clothing store for women (Canadian outlet known as Pennington's) which
is full-time, so training is keeping me busy. So far on my days off
I've been keeping watch over my boy - he is now learning to walk with
crutches after spraining his ankle.
I've officially finished a wonderful 6 years at the photo studio where
I've worked, and wrapped up the last series of stories for a local
paper published monthly here.
I also had a super interview with Jeff Martin, who was formerly the
frontman for a Canadian Rock band known as the Tea Party - and he
called me from Ireland (where he resides now)....only in this case it
was more for the White Ribbon campaign and about his involvement with
it (White Ribbon campaign is a global cause for men encouraging other
men to end violence against women)...as he's done several rock concerts
as fund-raisers since 1998 for this organization. As he's got a new
solo album out called "Exile and the Kingdom", and just finished a tour
in Australia with his new band, I also got a CD. The White Ribbon
people liked the article so it is in the review process and I'll be
notified if it is posted online.
I'm looking to enjoy my first weekend off in a long time and to get to
some painting....and portraits. :-) I miss my artwork.
Life is pretty good tho...no complaints.
