I've seen the first "Onmyoji" and "When the Last Sword Is Drawn." Is the 2nd
"Onmyoji"
any good? I think the only things I really loved about the first one were Yui
Natsukawa's final scene and Hiroyuki Sanada (whom I would love reading the phone
book) throughout the picture, but especially his last scene.
I think "When the Last Sword is Drawn" is a good example of Japanese story
telling,
since it weaves in and out of time wthout the slick transitions Western
audiences are
used to. As movies go, I think it's a better movie than "Onmyoji."
Don't get me wrong. I liked "Onmyoji." I just didn't fall in love with it.
