Hi, all, we were scheduled to perform today at the new West Englewood
Library on 63rd and Paulina, but the Library just called to cancel due
to the weather and low turnout, although we would have moved indoors to
play. The library wants to reschedule us for a later date.
The May 27 2 pm performance at the Rogers Park Library (Clark just
north of Pratt) is still on. We have played inside there before, so
weather won't be a factor. It's a nice venue, whether indoors or out.
More info on Kokyo Taiko is available at www.budtempchi.org/kokyo.html
We will be at the Japan Day Festival in Rolling Meadows at the District
214 HQ, near Mitsuwa on June 25, time TBA.
Also, The Buddhist Temple of Chicago resumes its annual Natsu Matsuri
after a 1-year hiatus during which time we tore down the old temple and
put up a new one. The date for Natsu Matsuri this year is July 9.
Information on the temple is available at www.budtempchi.org
Thanks for your support.
