I had to leave early Saturday morning to go somewhere. I got up
shortly after 2:00 a.m., and when I turned on the TV to Fox News
Channel, Hannity and Colmes was on. I wasn't able to watch very
closely as I was busy, but it was a show they taped in front of a big
crowd at a college campus in Dallas.
Hannity & Colmes had a three-person panel they called the "Lonestar
All-stars" or something like that. The panel consisted of Janine
Turner, Morgan Fairchild, and a former Dallas Cowboys football player
whose name slips my mind right now.
I wish I could have seen the whole segment, but a few things I
remember seeing was Janine responding to Sean Hannity's question
about the difficulty of working in the Hollywood environment for one
who is known to be Republican or conservative. Also, Hannity (or
maybe it was Alan Colmes, not sure) asked her if she wasn't worried
about alienating some of her fans by publicly espousing a
conservative point of view. I forget exactly how she worded her
answer, but the gist of it was that she feels her country is more
important.
I don't want this to erupt into a big political debate or anything
like that here on the message board. Everyone has their opinions, and
this is not the place to debate politics or religion. I'm just
reporting what little I remember seeing of Janine on Hannity & Colmes
in the wee hours of Friday night/Saturday morning.
Whether or not one agrees with Janine's point of view, let's at least
give her credit for being courageous enough to take a stand publicly.
And yes, she looked beautiful, as always.
