The offensive message was removed and the user
banned even before you wrote your message.

Please note that if you have this group set up
to send you emails of each new message, there
is only one way for me to intercept them, and
that is for me to set it up so that I would
have to personally review each message prior
to its appearing on the board. I really don't
wish to do that, but if the situation becomes
bad enough, I may have to.

I would like to take this opportunity to pass
along a word of warning that applies also to
active, contributing members: any more vulgar
language--even in response to those who spam
the message board by posting links to porn
sites--and your account will be banned from
this group.

I founded this group almost six years ago,
and I will keep it clean. If anyone dislikes
that policy, they're free to leave. If the
membership drops off to extremely low levels
due to my zero tolerance policy, then I will
simply close the group down. I don't
personally gain anything by hosting this
group. In nearly six years I haven't even
gotten so much as an acknowledgment from
Janine Turner that she's aware of this group's
existence, so shutting this place down, while
undesirable, would not be that big a deal to
me. That's the way I feel about it. If
offensive messages creep in and I miss them
for a couple days, I'm sorry and that can't
always be helped short of making this a
moderated board, which, as I've said, I'm
willing to do if it becomes necessary.
