Not seeing as much of the show as I would have liked, I looked up the
term "futility specialist" and nothing came up. Does such a
specialty really exist? As for the decision to leave -Beats me. I
would find it hard to believe Whoopee would give up a willingly a
winning product like Janine if she had a choice. But who knows the
politics & intrigues of Hollywood?
As for the character's pregnancy, I can only imagine it's some kind
of apologetic explanation coming from a highly moraled woman for what
some perceive as an immoral deed.
Myself? I think it would have been a far greater sin had a goddess
like Janine not reproduced and given the world little Juliet.
