Janine Turner and Michael Greyeyes turn in strong performances in
this engrossing, fact-based 1997 TV-Western set on the plains of
Kansas in 1868.

Turner plays Anna Morgan, who, the day after she's married, is
captured along with another woman (Jean Louisa Kelly) by a tribe of
Sioux bent on revenge for recent attacks by Custer. But a proud
warrior named Tokalah (Greyeyes) falls for Anna, and though she
refuses his overtures, she gradually adjusts to her new life---and
begins to feel a connection to him. Meanwhile, Anna's husband, Daniel
