The Landmark Loew's Jersey Theatre, located at 54 Journal Square,
Jersey City, N.J. will host a rare big-screen 35 mm presentation
of "Angels With Dirty Faces" on Saturday, April 24 at 5 PM.
Following the film, Leo Gorcey, Jr. will be on hand to speak about
his dad and the other East Side Kids. Mr. Gorcey will also
autograph copies of his book about his father.
This presentation will be part of "OTHER Gangs of NY" classic film
weekend at the Loew's Jersey.
On Friday, April 23 at 8 PM we will offer a rare big screen
presentation of "Guys and Dolls".
And on Saturday, April 24 at 8:30 PM we will present "West Side
Story".
Admission for each film is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and
children 12 years old and younger.
Mr. Gorcey's appearance is part of the admission to Angels With
Dirty Faces.
A combo ticket for all three films is $15 for adults, $10 for
seniors and children.
The Landmark Loew's Jersey Theatre presents its classic films on a
50 foot wide screen using carbon arc illumination for the brightest,
whitest light. The Loew's Jersey is a classic American Movie palace
that was saved from demolition and is being restored as a non-profit
arts and entertainemtn center. A major part of our programming is
the presentation and appreciation of classic film.

"OTHER Gangs of New York" is co-presented by Friends of the Loew's,
