Hi van,
first, a very happy new year to you and may
this new year bring you the TCM.
I would have liked to watch MEET ME IN ST.
LOUIS on this christmas (i have already seen it 3
times!!} judy garland singing HAVE YOURSELF A MERY
LITTLE CHRISTMAS..... is enough christmas
celebration!!!!
I am very much surprised to know that it
can be possible for us residents not to have a TCM!!!
in washington!!!! what to talk about my problem then.
see I would just love to have anything
related to jimmy, tapes, dvd's, posters......I don't
know how much you have read my earlier posts...i am
from india....22M!!!... madly in love with american
movies from 20's--- 50's!!!!!!!!!!!! it's about one
and half year we are not having TCM in asia, which is
my only chance to see these movies!! i can't buy these
movies, paying $ 20 and shipping charges for one dvd..
would cost me more than Rs. 1200!!!!
what i can do is just wait for TCM.
Why don't you vist the TCM website where they
have some section concerning the TCM connection in us.
Have you seen the docu. JAMES CAGNEY - TOP OF
THE WORLD presented by MICHAEL J FOX...I remember
every word of jimmy's speech he delivered, when he was
awarded with the life time achievement award.
TRIBUTE TO A BAD MAN was wonderful movie
wasn't it?
hope to see you again
ashutosh
