HI

HI!!
Deb,
That was only about cagney, you would be
even more surprised to know that I am big fan of
hollywood movies from 20's--50's, yes, this is my
strange king of hobby, I would rather say passion.
WIZARD OF OZ was the first old film I saw in
1999, and then it became my favorite pursuit. There
are so many stars I love, but cagney is right there at
top. I have seen some 250 movies from that era. Once I
had sent e-mail to ESTHER WILLIAMS,after watching her
wonderful performance in MILLION DOLLAR MERMAID (i
have seen 4-5 more films of her) and I got crazy when
she replied my e-mail. I sent snail mails to van
johnson and mickey rooney, but unfortuantely I haven't
recieved any reply from them.
Well, there is big problem buying a DVD
online for me because of the diffrence in curreny, I
would get DVD for 20$ which equals 1000 Rs. +
shipping!!! that is a very costly affair, I have just
completed my graduation, so most of my money were
spent on studies, now I can buy them ( I have better
idea, rather than buying DVD'S one by one would take
so much time, so I think I would like to own turner
ent.network some day....ha...ha)
Actually there is no problem from cable
operator here, turner ent. network has ceased the
TCM'S transmission in whole asia, it's been a year
now, I have asked TCM about this from their website,
but believe me they don't answer at all.
You must be 40+ now, you must have watched
many old films, I have also seen recent movies, which
are 5-6 times the no. of old films. But my world
revolves around 20's-50's
