BURBANK - January 16, 2003 - Ivan Sergei ("Jack & Jill," `The
Opposite of Sex") will join the regular cast of NBC's "Crossing
Jordan" (Mondays, 10-11 p.m. ET) as Dr. Peter Winslow, a new coroner
whose previous slacker work ethic lands him in Boston for what could
be his one last career chance.


Sergei starred as David "Jill" Jillefsky on the series "Jack & Jill"
(also starring Amanda Peet) but feature-film audiences might also
know him from his role in "The Opposite of Sex" in 1998 as well as
other big-screen work in "Dangerous Minds" and "Airtime."


His other television credits include regular series roles on "My
Adventures in Television" (a/k/a "Wednesday") and "Once a Thief." He
also appeared in the TV movies "The Rockford Files: Friends and Foul
Play," "Star Command," "If Someone Had Known" and "Mother, May I
Sleep with Danger?"


Jill Hennessy stars in the edgy drama as a sexy, brilliant and
fearless Boston medical examiner with a checkered career -- and a
penchant for going beyond the call of duty to investigate crimes.
Miguel Ferrer, Ken Howard, Ravi Kapoor, Steve Valentine, Lorraine
Toussaint and Kathryn Hahn also star.
