My poem for our Beloved Ingrid is coming very soon. Just on her date...

Right now I am reading the biography by Charlotte Chandler on our Ingrid.

I love her and am glad to share this love with all of you.

Let us respect her, remember her, and let us pray for her soul to be in Light
and Peace, always and eternally.

She lives in our hearts and her heart and persona can be clearly seen in her
characters..

Most of all, as herself would say, let us not just remember her as an actress,
of course she was the best ever and very professional and clever in her work,
but let us experience her as a human being everytime... She was a lovely human

Thank you Dianne for posting this lovely poem, a perfect tribute to Ingrid.  I
met her 2 years before she died.  She was performing in THE CONSTANT WIFE in
London.  She was so gracious.  Not many paople die on their birthday.  Last week
I watched CASABLANCA for at least the 50th time.  There are not enough
adjectives to describe her beauty.

I saw A Walk in the Spring Rain  I rate it a D.   I didn't care for
it, the story nor the character Ingrid portrayed.  I felt she was
miscast and I never liked Anthony Quinn.
There was not enough challenge in the part for her great talent.
Even the man who played her husband, Fritz Weaver was not up to her
level when it comes to
acting ability.  It was all a terrible mishmash.  I love Ingrid's
acting too much to appreciate anything about this movie.

Since I'm relatively new around here I have found some serious solid gold
moments from Ingrid that I have never seen or heard before. Thanks to everyone
who uploads files especially that RARE intermezzo color screen test(I wish I
could see more of that documentary) but I want to say to this group that you are
true friends of Ingrid and I know that she watches over us and would without a
doubt tell us that she is filled with joy for having such devoted and true
friends.
