Dear Sweet Diane,
Thank you for your reply.
A very magical experience has been happening to me.. I know it can sound crazy
but I can clearly feel Ingrid's spiritual presence very close lately... She
comes back to me every 6 years. It happened to me twice previously but I do know
this time is quite different... I could not write on her website anymore because
unfortunately I cannot remember password and user ID... Mary, please, would you
help me with that? Thanks.
Moreover, I am just back from my holidays and I could read your post this
morning.
My poem for our Beloved Ingrid is coming very soon. Just on her date...
Right now I am reading the biography by Charlotte Chandler on our Ingrid.
I love her and am glad to share this love with all of you.
Let us respect her, remember her, and let us pray for her soul to be in Light
and Peace, always and eternally.
She lives in our hearts and her heart and persona can be clearly seen in her
characters..
Most of all, as herself would say, let us not just remember her as an actress,
of course she was the best ever and very professional and clever in her work,
but let us experience her as a human being everytime... She was a lovely human
being and she still is a wonderful inspiring spirit for all of us.. So let us
tune in and connect to her marvelous soul. She needs us as we need her.
Love,
Valentina

Oggetto: [Ingrid Bergman International] In tribute to Ingrid Bergman
I offer this poem honoring our beloved Ingrid Bergman every Aug. 29,
the day of her birthday and sadly the day of her death:
On An August Day
Like a newborn shining star she came
on an August Day into lifelong fame
Her face glowed with a radiance rare
her smile attracted many to stare
Statuesque and elegance were her mark
an enchantress she was from morn `til dark
The finest to grace the stage and screen
her true greatness could be seen
Nature and Art broke the mold
after she was fashioned out of gold
Then at the age of sixty-seven
that golden star shone from heaven
A part of my life she was to me
on the screen, the stage, and on TV
Though in the midst of sorrow be
within my heart she stays with me
I now find comfort from my tears
in a legacy of films she left for years
Like a newborn shining star she came
on an August Day into lifelong fame
In a nobly courageous way
she left this world on an August Day
