I enjoyed "Goodbye Again" but then of course, I enjoy all of
Ingrid's movies.
I do want to say that I did not care for Tony Perkins in that role.
He is too
stiff and wooden an actor to play opposite Ingrid. However, I enjoyed
Yves Montand very much, although I found it very difficult for a man to
cheat on a woman of Ingrid's beauty. And - Ingrid was at the height of
her beauty in this movie. She was absolutely lovely in "Goodbye Again"
and I agree with you Mary, "Goodbye Again" should have retained its
French title,
"Aimez-Vous Brahms" That is what the movie was all about.
