Well, another one of Ingrid's "difficult-to-find" films has been
released on DVD. "Stimulantia" is an eight-part episode Swedish film
where Ingrid appears with her old Dramaten classmate Gunnar
Bjornstrand in a short story by Guy de Maupassant directed by her
old friend and director Gustaf Molander. The episode was filmed in
October 1964, but the other film's episodes were completed afterwards
and it went into general release only in 1967. Anyway it was not
widely distributed and it didn't show in many countries. Now you can
get it on DVD at:

artline.nl/E_home.html

That's the good news. The bad news (more or less like the DVD
for "Die Vier Gesellen") is that it is in Swedish and it has only
Dutch subtitles... Well, I guess that if you know the plot, you can
enjoy it anyway...

Wonderful news! I've always wanted to see this film, because the story is a typical "Ingrid" one, so suited to her abilty to portray a kind of "Angst", which...
