Thank You very much for the update! I have been reading some messages, but
very seldom in the past, so most of all this had passed unnoticed by me. I have
also posted a message here and there, but I guess many months apart. Just
haven't had time to be so much online... It was nice to read your compilation -
I have some vague recollections of some of them, but can't remember if I ever
participated in the discussion.

I joined the group in August 1999. I was emailing with Mary at that time and
when she founded this group she invited me and other friends of hers to join. I
suppose there were only 4-5 or so members at the start and I was one of them. I
also had a Ingrid website in the past but for various reasons have given it up.

About the Swedish Intermezzo video-clips: I checked the ones I have made and
they are all over 10Mb in size, although they are only about 2 minutes in length
- and we can only upload files up to 5Mb in size to this group :-( ... So I
can't put those online. Maybe I'll put them for download to my personal
webspace, and if so, I'll email you and let you know the URL, OK?

But I have uploaded two files; one to the "Photos", one to the "Files". The
photo is of that Ingrid and Roberto Rossellini's Rome-apartment, and you can
find it in "new ingrid album" in Photos. It is the last photo there named "Viale
Bruno Buozzi 49", which is the address. The other file is under "Files" and
named "1938_Intermezzo_Screentest.avi", and that is a short 24 seconds video
clip of Ingrid's first hollywood screen-test in colour (and doesn't she look
young there!).

It seems that any video-clip that I make, which exceeds 1 minute is already
over the 5Mb limit that Yahoo! allows...

Anyway, I hope you like the files and always nice to hear more from you - have
a nice week there in Milan!

Now, I don't know exactly how long you've been absent from that site for,
but I can try to update you as much as I can.

In the late 2003 a member of the site who I don't think is still there, had
written about her own restaurant and the main thing which was so important,
unusual and pretty special about that restaurant, was that every single
Saturday night she showed different Ingrid movies.
She got a private projection room with a certain number.
Her posting had been full of replies, what a success!!!!

Then everybody simply were updating the other members about the release of
new DVD of Ingrid Movies.

In Spring the Moderator, Mary, wrote about her special trip following the
Catholic Church in Rome and let us all know about her own experience.

Closer to the Summer time a girl from Budapest went on writing and proposing
new quizzes about the movies of Ingrid.... I think she's been expelled for
some reason.

And now we're starting with The New Year!
At least what I've mentioned have been the "episodes" those I can remember
the most.
I hope this helped you somehow to re-enter in the group without feeling
"uneasy"-like....

May I ask you when have you started to be a member of this site?

Thank you for letting me know about your trip in Rome!
Do you have the photo about the Bergman/Rossellini apartment yet?
I'd be so curious to see it and I think also the other fans would be happy
to!
Even if I am Italian, I have been there once when I was a little child.
I was with a group of people and I celebrated my 9th birthday there!
It was much fun!

I personally live in Milan. I like this city a lot but I think Rome it's
much better because of the weather and the way people behave and live.
Even if we are part of the same country we can be different one from the
other.

I'd love to see some of the video-clips you've mentioned for
"Intermezzo"!!!!!!!
I'm looking forward to it!!!!

Sure, I'd be happy to discuss any of her movies! I haven't been
visiting this group for AGES, and I haven't kept track of most of
the previous messages, so I may have missed quite a lot what has
been going on here.

By the way, I live in Finland, and I have been member of this group
for years now... so shame on me for being mostly absent! I visited
Rome a couple of years ago, and what a beautiful city it was to
spend a week in. I was there middle of July, so it was really HOT...

), as the sun was shining all the time. I guess you people have used
to it by now ;-)I even found the Rossellini/Bergman's city apartment
during my visit and took a photo.

Yes, Intermezzo is certainly worth watching in its Swedish version,
too. Do you have it as VHS? If not (and if you have never seen it) I
can make some small video-clips (maybe 1-3 minutes each) from the
DVD if you wish and put them into the "Files", just to give you some
idea of Ingrid in this movie. I have a couple of them ready without
subtitles. Just let me know if you'd like to see any.
