Dear Mary:
When Gielgud directed Ingrid in The Constant Wife, he said:
"I found her enchantingly willing and responsive to direction, "
He also gave a Reading at her funeral services.
But most of all, why are Ingrid fans perpetuating this quote by
displaying
it on their websites? I cannot understand why. If one loves Ingrid
they would
let this quote die and not keep bringing it up. Yes Gielgud had a
high opinion
of himself. He was an egotist!
