Nef, I know how Ian's e-Post works; if "scads" of fans e-Post on
5/25, Kevin the webmaster will have to do 1 of 2 things: e-mail Ian
to tell him that dozens or hundreds or a thousand or so fans just
temporarily crashed the site, or post a header or topic on Ian's
cover page to the effect that 'dozens or hundreds or a thousand or so
fans' posted happy birthday, congrats, etc. for Ian.
The purpose of the exercise is not necessarily to 'get on' the site
on 5/25, but for Ian to have a virtual headcount of how many fans are
paying attention to *him*, not Dan Brown's book, or Tolkien's book,
or Marvel comics. Ian himself may not see any of our messages until
long after 5/25, but I believe he will see them.
All best,
Miranduviel
(pervy fancier of *talented* wizards...)
