As to Vanity Fair from April, there are plenty of them on eBay. Six in the auction section and more than seven in the stores section as of now. The prices seem pretty reasonable, though the postage tends to add on quite a bit. (If you aren't signed up for Paypal and don't want to, many sellers accept money orders, checks, etc.)
Cheers,

If someone has a number or website for a back-issues service, could
you snag an issue of VF/4/2006 for me (Nef? Emma?)? I live in
Massachusetts, near the lovely Merrimack River, and it flooded because
of the rain.
Good news: We live on the third floor, so my fabric won't get damaged.
Bad news: All the units have two-part HVAC systems, and the air-
conditioner cooling coil/fan units are on the ground, most behind the
buildings, where the flooding was worst. The flooding included the
septic system (and we were just about to go onto the town's sewage
lines!), which has irreparably damaged all the fan units, and it could
possibly take more than a month to repair all the units' systems.
We're staying with my husband's parents; they're lovely folks, but
we're used to our own space (and I'm sure they are too), but I really
hope we can go back soon. We were awakened by the local fire
department at 2 a.m. with instructions to pack 'just in case;' but the
water got to the cooling units and they turned off the HVAC units and
cleared us out; it's hard to remember what's important to pack when
you're half-asleep--but at least I have my copy of "The Fellowship of
the Ring" to read.
I'm looking forward to getting tix for "The DaVinci Code" for 5/19 and
making Rich take me out to dinner (even if it's only Chili's). I hope
for the best, and assume the worst will hit us.
All best,
Miranduviel (the pervy wizard-fancier)
