London Tragedy & Where's Ian?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #4984 of 5427 |
7 July 2005: Metro London was struck by at least six, if not more,
bombs or other devices planted on subway ("Underground") trains,
tracks, and on the bright red double-decker buses, with blasts
apparently timed to go off at approximately 9 a.m. local time (4 a.m.
EDT in the U.S.).

At least two deaths are confirmed, and there are many injured. The
Prime Minister is returning to London from the G8 Conference in
Scotland. Numerous and conflicting terrorist groups claiming
responsibility have been reported; no official government agency has
released any statement (that I've heard about so far).

I extend condolences and prayers to the people of London and all the
visitors involved there.

Does anyone have information about where Ian is right now? I know
production began in May at Leavesden Studios, which is far outside of
London, and my husband did mention that he thought exteriors and
action shots were being filmed in France now. Can anyone verify that?

All best (I hope)
