So you have learned the classic internet double lesson ... 1) it's free, which
means anyone can join (and post meaningless ads in attempt to make a buck), and
2) you should NEVER give your children access to a public site.

I agree with everything you said. Perhaps the moderator of this site needs to
be more active with deleting bad posts and posters. Is it time for an approval
process for prospective new members? Many groups do it, and I suspect just for
the above reasons.
