It's probably sacrelige (sp?) to say that I didn't
like the NIT movies...but I didn't. Ernest was always
his lovable self, but the rest of the movie was always
difficult to endure. Actually, I didn't care for
"Rides Again" either, but I haven't seen that in quite
a while. Gotta take the in-theater movies. Otherwise
Randall "Tex" Cobb might come after me.
I think one other thing that I prefer more about the
early movies is that they were more believable...for
example, how the heck would Ernest actually get into
the Army, and how could said Army do anything useful
if they let him in?
