The Project

Full length feature film-though a low budget film but it's a 2 hrs
long film with 5 songs. The film's strongest spine is the concept. It
is unique & is never made in Indian Cinema. This is not another
Bollywood film which each time claims to be different but remains on
the same age-old set standards & norms. This is actually different.

We plan to shoot on HD & once the film is successfully complete, we
aim to blow it up on 35mm & eventually release it in multiplexes.

Script: Absolutely Complete & registered.(including lyrics)
Cast: No big stars but promising talents with years of stage acting
experience.
Location: In finalizing stage (Mumbai only)
Camera: Good quality HDV-cam
(Opting between Sony HVR-Z1U / JVC-HD-GY100) – Suggestions are invited.

Pre Prod. Already started
Production: 15-20 days in the months July-August, 2006
Post Prod. September, 2006

About us-a brief introduction

Darpan Theatre & Cine Arts (DTCA) - a Mumbai (India) Based team of
creative people inclined towards working positively for Stage &
Cinema. DTCA was founded by Mr. Sunil Prem Vyas – with a mission to
encourage new talents in stage/theatre & eventually building it into
sincere production house for quality stage & cinema. We had been in to
Play/Drama Productions since 9 years with more than 17 plays performed
all over India under our banner Darpan Theatre & Cine Arts. Now, we
are entering into Film Production with our two new ventures. (To start
1st with a low budget but genuinely a sincere & promising film).

Who are we looking for…?

Really sincere volunteer for our project.
(Read below whether you fit in our expectations)

Co-producer / Financer

 Who is genuinely willing to put in his hard earned money in the
gambling field of Film- making & believes in the fact that to gain
high achievements one needs guts to take risks.

 Who could prove to be a trust worthy partner with the clear
intentions of creating quality cinema & not just another investor
showing off that he is related to showbiz.

 Who should agree to the fact that in casting & other creative or
technical decisions, the priority remains that of directors & the rest
of the team should respect his decisions as he remains the captain of
the ship. Any kind of interference might ruin the relationship
or even the project. (Though, we are flexible enough to always welcome
good suggestions).

 Who has ample amount of patience. We are not making a TV show which
has to be shot in time restrictions. Quality film making is a complex
& time consuming job which needs extra patience especially if we are
trying to create quality work in low budgets. We believe in strong
pre-production & very well organized preparations with rehearsals.
This film has many special effects which might require thorough
technical knowledge & research. We might have to build – tailor made
Rigs etc. also.

Why should you join this project?

1st For the Subject
Our subject is Unique, Unique & Unique. It has never been made in
Indian Cinema.
It would be an artistic journey through camera's eye. Being a part of
such film could be an extra advantage to your profile & could prove to
be a pride to talk about.

2nd You are not the only risk taker
Profit & returns of your investments becomes our responsibility once
you believe in us. We wish to sustain in this industry with our skills
& creativity but certainly not at the cost of your money alone. That
is why we remain the 1st investor for our passion to accomplish in to
a sincere, meaningful but commercial viable project.

3rd For the great scope
Yes! Commercially viable!
We are not doing any aim less experiment with our money, time & hard work.
We want to make another film after this. Today, the complete scenario
is changing in film industry with new subjects/new cast/new team being
made & getting box office success. Whom so ever we have narrated the
script, we are inspired by their positive encouragement to make this
film cause it has great scope for returns (especially Overseas &
multiplexes). Also it might set new trends in Indian cinema ( at least
in script & treatment levels). You can judge it yourself when you hear
the subject & if required detailed shot divisions & their takings. Yes
it's already done on paper from every action to cut.

4th You do not need to invest your time
We understand that time is money. If you are not a full timer in film
productions then you do not need to worry about your time management
out of your busy work schedules cause we very well know this job. Film
making is not only our profession but our passion. We enjoy investing
our life in all the aspects of film making from story idea till
screening of the film & fortunately we have a small but passionate
team to accomplish that. (though small & expanding but a well-planned
& disciplined team environment is our stronge points & key to low
budget film making)


Investments & Returns

o The returns would be transparently on profit sharing of the investments.
o Legal documents would be signed.
o Detailed budget break-up & expenditure etc would be provided for
your reference.



The last words
We would make this film even if we do not get partners/financers. Only
thing is the project would take some more time to get complete. We are
