Hello,friends. Just to let you know, that the 1998 Italian spaghetti
western that Keitel was in with David Bowie, "Il Mio West" (AKA "My
West") has finally been released on DVD in America. It really sneaked
up on us, too, as it's ALREADY out in stores! The confusion lies in
that it has been renamed for the U.S., to the far cheesier
sounding "Gunslinger's Revenge" . It was released by Sony Home Video. I
saw this film several years ago, on a bootleg VHS I got from Italy. But
it was entirely in Italian, without subtitles. Now, it is in English.
It is a silly little movie, but it DOES feature Keitel and Bowie as
rival gunslingers, and some of it is indeed priceless. I can't believe
it wasn't released sooner. I bought it this morning. But, it IS for
completist fans of Keitel and/or Bowie only.
