I was clicking through tv channels and by dumb luck happened to
catch "Copland", and it just happened to be the scene with Keitel and
Deniro together in the convenient store. The movie was ok, but it got
me thinking. Everyone knows that Keitel and Deniro started out
together, in fact it was Harvey that Marty Scorsese had envisioned as
a future superstar. Harvey and Deniro's chemistry in "Mean Streets"
is
undeniable. It is also one of my all-time favorite movies, Keitel or
not. Getting back to the point I think it would be great to see
Harvey
and Bobby Deniro do one last big feature togther. If Marty could get
involved I think it would be awesome. Considering the ages of these 3
legends it would probably be one of the last times we could hope to
see an effort like this. What kind of feature could it be? I dont
know. They have done the cops and robbers thing before. I, for one,
wouldn't mind seeing something different. Who knows if it would ever
happen. It would be worth waiting for though.
