Hello,

As many of you already know, the Complete Series of
Buck Rogers was released on DVD, November 16, 2004.

I would like to start a letter writing campaign to ask
that Buck Rogers be released on Blue Ray. Hopefully,
extra's will also be included this time; such as cast
and crew commentaries, interviews, bloopers, etc.

Hopefully, we can convince people to make a a formal
announcement regarding this in the near future, so
please send in you letters as soon as possible.

Below are some tips, ideas, and addresses to write
letters.

TIPS

1) Thank them for there previous release of Buck Rogers
on DVD

2) Request that the 1979 movie and TV show, Buck Rogers
in the 25th Century, starring Gil Gerard and Erin Gray,
be released on Blue Ray

3) Remind them that this is year is the 30th Anniversary
of the 1979 Movie and TV Show.

4) Remind them that there will be a new market for Buck
Rogers on Blue Ray, especially since Buck Rogers will be
released as feature film soon, as well as a web series,
and comic book.

5) State clearly in your letter that you would like
DVD Extra's be included also; such as cast and crew
commentaries, interviews, bloopers, etc.

6) Above all, be Polite and Courteous. Mean and Nasty
Letters won't help.

Thanks Scott

I met Carrie Fisher a few years ago when she attended Collectormania in Milton Keynes, UK.

My friend and I waited a while to meet her as our ticket numbers were in the 800's; it was approx 5:15 pm when we finally met her and by that time she wasn't personalising the autographs or posing for photos, as obviously after hours of signing she must of been knackered. :)

I'd like to meet Mark Hamill.

Cool. (at least I'm not the only one here that would like to meet them) lol jk

Oh, interesting. That would be neat.

Piece Of Trivia:
Did you know that Harrison Ford wanted George Lucas to kill off his character, Han Solo?

I have to be honest and say I'm glad he wasn't "killed off".

Yeah I'd love to meet Carrie too - I think she'd be a hoot. There was a programme on recently where this guy called justin wanted to re-unite the cast of Star Wars and it was hilarious.

Thanks for the link, Eskilbourne.
It would be nice if I lived near CA, lol.
I could meet Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. (Star Wars)
It would be really cool if Harrison Ford was there too. LOL
[Not to mention a couple others it would be nice to meet, as well]

The trailer and an article regarding the forthcoming movie Dire Wolf starring Gil can be seen at dreadcentral. com.
Extract from dreadcentral. com:
A dire wolf is an extinct breed of carnivorous wolf native to prehistoric North America. Ray has stated there's a possibility the title may very well undergo a name change since many people aren't familiar with what a dire wolf is. I don't think most people have a clue what a Wyvern is and that didn't deter the Sci-Fi Channel recently. Besides, even if you've never heard of a dire wolf the title sounds perfectly befitting a horror movie. I hope they keep it.
Dire Wolf has scientists living out their Jurassic Park fantasy by regenerating a dire wolf from a nearly fossilized skeleton using human stem cells. The results prove even direr than anticipated as the human-dire wolf hybrid beast they give to birth to breaks loose and terrorizes the small nearby mountain village of Santa Mira Springs.
For the full article and trailer, check out dreadcentral. com
The trailer can also be seen at dailymotion. com

I'm sure little fluffy wouldn't want to be put in a pan.
Scary.

Last February we had fantastic weather; I remember it being sunny with blue sky. That would've been a nice time to be at SF Ball in Bournemouth :)

Having just got back from the SF Ball in Bournemouth (which for you
lot in the US is pronounced Born-mehf not born-mouth as Peter Jurasik
said)
and had to cope with the obsessive 'church of mary' who stalked Mary
McDonnel, behaved like she was their property and ruined the
convention for a lot of people......

I'd just like to say I'm so glad BR fans aren' such loonies. Ok
maybe some of you are lol. But last year when Gil and Erin were
guests, there was none of the 'superfan' we own you kind of mentality.

Indeed, whilst the continual interruptions to my conversation with
Erin at the cocktail party,by the drooling fan-boys falling at her
feet - quite literally (they had to,I had the chair lol) was a little
annoying, it was also quite amusing at the same time...

So if you get to meet your idols...keep it real, don't hog them for
the entire convention because even if on the surface they appear not
to mind...they are after all actors.. Remember others have paid just
as much as you have and have the right to meet them too. Don't go and
interupt if someone else is talking to them because that is also
quite rude....wait until they have finished speaking to that person
because chances are they are being paid to 'work the room' anyway and
will probably move away soon and then you can aproach them.

right off my soapbox now lol
