I usually do not make a big deal about this. However, in that some are getting more sophisticated in their knowledge of how to use the computer to harass others, we have people who are now sending spam, virus like posts, etc. to the groups. Many groups are not moderated and this is a growing concern. Personally, I do not like to have moderated groups as they are a pain in the, uh, you get the point. But, if these kinds of posts continue to show up, we may be forced to moderate all the groups. The most recent little gem is a post that when you click on the subject title of the post your computer goes crazy, doing weird things, including locking up. If you have encountered such a post, please let us know and we will delete the post as well as deal with the one who did the posting. What they are doing is illegal, thus, the person responsible can be banned from Yahoo. Yahoo will not only ban the addy, they will bad the IP address. Okay, I know, now that IP addresses are no longer static, what good does it do. Well, it sends a message to the perpetrator that they can be dealt with. It is truly unfortunate that there are a few who chose to spoil it for everyone else, for whatever reason. These people are sick and get their kicks by trying to stick it to everyone else. Personality wise, these are the losers, the ones that probably have few friends, cannot get along with anyone, mad at everyone, you know the kind that like to blow up things for the hell of it.
