Poem For You

Blue Eyes blue eyes sparkle bright
blue eyes blue eyes see thru the night
what do you see when you look at me?
I hope you see the friend I'd like to be
I hope you don't see the monster others see.

It's not everyday someone special comes along
that makes a heart sing it's own special song.

I don't want much just to be your friend
no matter what comes, from beginning to end
Whenever you need them good thoughts I'll send

I hope you don't mind the words of this rhyme
I think you're truly one of a kind
and I'd be proud to say you're a friend of mine.
