If you look at the calendar on the home page of this group, you can
tell exactly when Jane was with us -- there were hundreds of posts each
month. What everyone has been saying is true -- Jane was the shining
light of this group, and kept us all coming back to check in to see
what was happening. She was tireless in her support of our writing and
I think we owe the existence of the zine to her cheerleading and
enthusiasm.
I know when I had a new story in progress, I was always anxious to get
it finished so I could send it off to her, because her delight was
infectious and touching. I'll never be able to see a picture of Pete
Burke without thinking of her.
She was a sweet spirit and I just know she is charming everyone in
heaven right now. I miss you, Jane, and will always be glad I knew you
for that too-short time.
