Rules & Regulations
1. Only entries by Filipino filmmakers who have not yet directed a
full-length commercial feature will be accepted.
2. Employees of the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the Film
Development Council of the Philippines are disqualified from the
competition.
3. All works must be strictly independent works and not produced by
commercial production companies and exhibited commercially in any
theatre.
4. All entries must be in digital video format (i.e., digitally
editing post-work). Two DVD copies must be submitted for screening
and archival purposes.
5. Due to copyright laws, music used in any entry must be original,
licensed or in the public domain.
6. Dialogue should be in Filipino or in any other Filipino
language, with English subtitles.

8. For joint directorial efforts, the filmmakers must assign a
single representative to act on its behalf. All official
communications shall be addressed to this representative. The
organizing committee shall not be liable for any controversy
regarding the sharing of awards among the members of the group.
9. The decision of the Board of Judges is final. The board reserves
the right not to give awards in any category should no entry merit
it.
10. Cash prizes are as follows:
a. Best Short Feature – P100,000.00 and trophy.
b. Full-Length Finalists – each one of the ten finalists gets a
P500,000 seed investment. This subsidy will be subject to
liquidation and shall be released in trunches.
c. Best Full-length Feature – P200,000.00 and trophy.
11. All cash prizes are subject to standard government tax on prizes
and awards (20%).
12. Entry forms may be obtained from the CCP Media Arts office, the
FDCP, the U.P. Film Institute during office hours (9am to 5pm,
Tuesday to Friday). Forms are also available through mail or
through film@... and ww.culturalcenter.gov.ph.
