MECHANICS

For the Short Feature:

1. Interested participants must submit the following on or before
5:00PM on 1 September 2004 (Wednesday) either to the Film
Development Council or CCP Media Arts offices:
a) A duly completed entry form
b) Synopsis in Filipino or English
c) A brief resume/biodata and recent 2x2 photos of the filmmaker(s).

2. The final work must be submitted in DVD format on or before
5:00PM of 15 November 2004 (Monday) to the CCP Media Arts office
(4th Floor, CCP Main Building, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City). The DVD
must be labeled with the title, production company address and
contact numbers, director's name and running time.

3. The ten (10) best short features will be selected by 15 December
2004.

4. These 10 films will be screened during the festival week, 19 to
25 February 2005.

5. The most outstanding short feature will be awarded on 25
February at the CCP Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (Main Theatre).



For the Full-Length Feature:

1. Interested participants must submit the following on or before
5:00PM on 31 July 2004 (Saturday) to CCP Media Arts office:
a) A duly completed entry form
b) A 1- to 3-page Synopsis in Filipino or English
c) A brief resume/biodata and recent 2x2 photos of the filmmaker(s).
d) Samples of previous film/video work in CD/DVD/VHS.

2. By August 31, 2004 (Tuesday), twenty (20) Semi-Finalists shall
be determined by a five-member selection committee.

3. On or before September 30, 2004 (Thursday), the twenty semi-
finalists must submit the following:
a) Either the full screenplay or a detailed treatment.
b) Production schedule
c) Production budget and counterpart financing plan.

4. By October 31, 2004 (Sunday), ten (10) finalists shall be
determined by a five-member selection committee.

5. Each of the ten finalists will be awarded P500,000 each, in 2
trunches – 50% on… and the balance upon…

6. By 15 December 2004, each of the finalists must submit the
following for promotional purposes:
• Production stills
• Behind the scenes materials
• A one-minute trailer of the work.
• Production credits.

7. The deadline for the finished full-length is January 15, 2005
(Sunday).

8. The ten films will be screened during the festival week, 19 to 25
February 2005 at the CCP Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (Main Theatre),
CCP Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theatre), the U.P.
Tanghalang Adarna (Film Center).

11. The best full-length feature will be awarded P200,000 on 25
February at the CCP Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (Main Theatre).
