As many of you know, Lloyd filmed an independent movie in New Orleans
in early January for InDigEnt, a movie production company owned by
IFC. Lloyd joined other high profile actors such as Sigourney Weaver,
Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke as celebs who are featured in InDigEnt's
revolutionary films.
Anyway, here's some more info about the project, courtesy of Indi Wire:
Lloyd plays an old hippie who owns the movie's main setting, a cereal
bar. He spends his days talking to the quirky and interesting
customers of the restaurant on topics ranging from the ideal milk to
flake ratio and the history of cereal. His character starts to have
problems when his restaurant concept is ripped off by a competitor and
set up across the street. As reported previously on this board, the
story is a quirky romantic comedy about the relationship of an
artistic t-shirt designer, played by Zooey Deschanel and one of
Lloyd's employees, played by Aaron Stanford.
