Hey guys,
NBC will repeat Lloyd's guest appearance on the show "Ed", which
originally aired back in April. The rerun will be this Wednesday at
8 PM (Eastern time). Just thought I'd pass that tidbit along.
Oh, and I recently got a chance to view the independent film "Dinner
at Fred's", which originally came out in 1996. Anyway, I found it on
Ebay for a very good price. I would recommend this film for anyone
who enjoys romantic comedies with original plot lines. I was
surprised at how much Lloyd's character was featured throughout the
film. My only compaint is that the movie takes a bit to get going,
dragging at the beginning and not all that funny until the main
character ends up stranded at Fred's house. From that point on, it's
hysterical and VERY original. For those who don't know, Lloyd plays
Fred's father. His scenes riding around on a leaf blower with a
shotgun are too funny. And he actually gets in a good dramatic
moment or two, particularly in his scenes with actress Parker Posey
("Best in Show", etc.), who plays his daughter. Anyway, check it out
if you get the chance.
