Hi everybody,
I just obtained a VHS copy of THE GURU. It looks like it is a first-
generation copy of a very good original. My copy is pretty sharp,
the colors are good, so I'm pretty happy with it.
The movie does seem to be lacking in the area of basic plot, but hey,
at least Rita looks good. Well, okay, perhaps a bit too much eye
mascara...
Anyway, I didn't track down this movie for the plot, but to fill a
gap in my Rita film collection, now at 30 out of about 53 major film
and TV appearances. (Still talking to private British collectors to
find A PLACE TO GO...)
I can make very good copies of this tape. If anyone is interested in
a copy, please contact me off list at
rjd0309@...
Cheers,
Robert
