Hey,
Are there still Butkins (?) Holiday camps in the UK? I am just remembering the
wonderful scenes from "The Leather Boys" , and I used to see signs and brochures
for them when I lived in England in the mid 80's.
I just bought "Smashing Time" on DVD. It looks sooo good in the DVD format. I
hope all of our fave Rita films come out on DVD, especially ATOH.

I don't think this is true, yet. I check every few months, hoping it comes
true. I'd happily pay anything to get cast commentary. "A Taste of Honey" is
a starkly beautiful film: I love the opening city scenes thru the bus
windows, the daytrip to Blackpool, Jo and Geoff watching the parade, the
sparklers at the end. Richardson was a genius at this stuff.

But more importantly... Lookit all the messages on this list. It's like a
birthday party or something!

P.S. Anyone seen another early Rita film called "A Place to Go"? I've never
seen it, nor is it available in any format.
