Dora Bryan, Rita's co-star in "A Taste Of Honey" (1961), recently lost
her husband of 54 years, Bill Lawton.
Bill passed away on 14 Aug 2008 at the age of 88 at Springfields
nursing home in Hove. He was cremated at a private service, at which a
tape was played of Dora singing the song "Bill", from the musical
Showboat.
