holiday camps we had here in the 60.s. i love the kitchen sink
dramas, thats what we called them here. rita is wonderful. dudley
sutton is one of my old faves. johnny briggs ive met on accasion and
talked about the film. all the old stars in the film, gladys henson ,
everything! i probably first saw it in the 70,s tho it may have been
earlier. taste of honey[my fave fim ever] i saw as a child in 60,s
and when i finally got it on video in 1983 [it was shown on a new tv
station here so i know the date!]i watched it every day for weeks,
sometimes several times. ! its a masterpiece without doubt , the cast
perfect. i fancied rita like mad! and to be honest i fancied murray
as well! it was an inspiration for me when i was growing up as a
confused child..i,m still confused at 49! also love a place to go.
mike sarne used to visit my road in the 60,s to see friends. i
wentthe pub recently from theleather boys. boarded up and due for
demolishing if not already. its rita early stuff i love the
most ..girl with green eyes also a fave.and have you seen the 70,s tv
movie green eyes? wonderful. so moving when she goes to vietnam. hey
stay in touch..i dont know anyother rita fans so its good to chat.
