i was a child in the 60.s , i was born in 1958. but the film was so
special to me. when i saw it for the first time as an adult in the
1980,s when it was shown , i was still so influenced and moved by it. i
think i knew when i saw jeffrey ingham i had something in common with
him and later dudley suttons character in the leather boys. who wouldnt
want to go to the camp in the leather boys with rita ..what nostalgia.
rita has always been so special to me, when she came to tour children
children in the 80,s i waited so many hours to see her, and of course
she was lovely. sorry rita if i speak in the second person here.. if
you read tis , thanks for so many great moments on film. no one will
care about this [!] but EVERY xmas day all my family watch a taste of
honey! they have no choice!!when it was shown on channel 4 in the
1980,s for the first time i taped it and watched non stop for about 30
times! so come on folks let chat!
