Hi everyone,

I'm passing along a question from a friend who wants to know where a
particular scene in A TASTE OF HONEY was filmed. Does anyone know
the location that was used for the girls school that Jo attended?
(The school in the opening scene of the film, where Jo is playing
netball.)

Switching topics now -
Rita now has some scenes to film in Rome for her current movie THE
HIDEOUT, by Italian writer-director Pupi Avati. She finished filming
her scenes in Davenport, Iowa, on 09 Sep 2006.

Rita was thrilled with the flowers that our club sent to her at her
hotel in Davenport, and would like to express her thanks. (I sent
her a dozen roses & chocolates in the name of our club, as a welcome
gift from the American members of FARTC.)

On a different topic -
I uploaded an image file last week to the FILES section of our board,

The pic shows Rita with my friend Simon Harries standing outside the
Starbucks at the corner of Green & Audley streets in Mayfair, just
one block south from Selfridges off Oxford Street (or two blocks
north from the US Embassy), on 26 Sep 2006.

Simon met up with Rita to return her videotapes of "Rita Tushingham:
1966 German documentary" and "This Is Your Life: Rita Tushingham".

Simon gave Rita a big bag of booty -- actually a carrier bag of gift
DVDs from Simon and me (a set of her BREAD episodes, a set of the
HOLLYWOOD UK series, a rare copy of her German film BEKENNTNISSE DES
HOCHSTAPLERS FELIX KRULL, plus copies of some of her more recent
appearances on the telly in the BEATLES DECADE and ANGEL CAKE and the
RICHARD & JUDY chat show.)
